Not long ago I saw a request for more Wilf Carter songs. Here's one of
three of Wilf's songs that are on our second DC, "Ranch Dressing":
 CALGARY ROUNDUP
Wilf Carter (recorded ~1935) Key of A

 We're a- [A] head-in' for the [A7] round-up, goin' [D] to the big stam- [A]
 pede,
[F#-] Old Dick Cosgrove [B7] ri-din' in the [E7] lead.
 The [A] old chuck wagon [A7] rat-tlin' - the [D] snort-in' buckin' [A]
 broncs.
 We're a-head-in' for the [E7] Cal-gary stam- [A] pede.

Get a-round the old chuck [A7] wag-on - and [D] get yourself some [A] grub.
[F#-] Flip those flapjacks [B7] o-ver in the [E7] pan.
[A] Old Jim Ross, the [A7] cook-ie - he sure can throw her up.
Well his chuck is good e- [E7] nough for any [A] man [A7]

 CHORUS:
 Oh, we're a [D] jol-ly bunch of cow-boys - we [A] hope you are the same.
We [F#-] have no cares - the [B7] laws we never [E7] heed.
 Oh, [A] gath-er in the [A7] cir-cle - and [D] sing this round-up [A] song,
 We're a-head-in' for the [E7] Cal-gary stam-[A] pede.

 (OPTIONAL YODEL)

 The [A] buckin' broncs a- [A7] snortin' - and [C] cow-boys ridin' [A] high.
  [F#-] Long-horns pawin' [B7] up the big [E7]cor-ral.
 A-[A] wait-in' for the [A7] bat-tle and a- [D] bel-lerin' in the [A] chutes,
And cow-boys yellin' [E7] "Ride 'em!" to their [A] pals.

 Well the [A] guy who rode old [A7] Steam-boat - Jack [D] Man-ley is his [A]
 name.
 A [F#-] better pal a [B7] cow-boy never [E7] knew.
The [A] way that guy could [A7] toss a rope - he'd [D] take the lead in [A]
 hand,
 And if you're stuck he'd [E7] al-ways see you [A] through.

 [A] Pick yourself a [A7] sweet-heart and [D] join -- the cowboy [A] ball.
Oh [F#-] hug 'em all and [B7] give 'em all a [E7] whirl (whoopee!)
 Oh [A] ask 'em how they'd [A7] like the life of a- [D] cookin' on a [A]
 ranch,
And tell 'em all you [E7] wish they were your [E] girl.
