 Verse 1:

 G D G D
Baby it's a cold hard world out there

 G D G D
 Broken-hearted people everywhere

 Em G
 Takin' whatever love they get

 C D
I don't wanna wind up like that, so

 Chorus:

 G Em
Baby throw your arms around my neck

                                   C
Lay your pretty head against my chest

                                   D
Listen to one heartbeat then the next

                                     G
'Cause baby I don't wanna lose you yet

It's everything that love's supposed to be

 Em G
I don't wanna look up one day

 C D
And find out we let it slip away

 ***Notes For Walk-Downs***
First off, yes, the song can be done with out
them. They are there on the cd, however, and
this is how they are done. You basically just
slip in the little walk-down lick as part of
your chord change. Pick the walk-down, then go
on strumming. If you play with the cd a couple
of times you will get the hang of it pretty quick.

 ***Notes For Guitar Solo***
Once again, the guitar solos are essential, you
can continue to strum the chords if you'd rather.
The solos actually sound better with two guitars.
These two solos (this one, and the one above in
the song) are basically the same, except this
one is an octave lower. The first one is how it
 is played on the cd.
