There are places where the E and G are strummed a few times more. The second verse is pretty much the same form as the first, with minor variations, and the obvious pauses. I will eventually sumbit a revised edition of this song that would smooth out some of the unclear parts. In any case, don't kill yourself trying to learn it exactly; I'm sure Jeffrey Gaines couldn't play it again precisely the same way.
