 You never know what their intentions are
 Could be money, food, or a ride in your car
 I wrote this song to make you aware
 That scavengers are around and everywhere
 DonÕt be the next person deprived
 Listen to these words and you may survive

 You just got home from the grocery store
 The next thing you hear is a knock on the door
 You open it up and who could it be
 But your shadyass neighbor smiling happily
 He comes on in before you invite him
 He heads for the kitchen just a little excited
 He grabs a brand new bag of chips
 Looks in the fridge for the bean dip
 He goes and sits in your favorite seat
 Grabs the remote and turns on the TV
 Puts all the food down on the table
 He tells you he forgot to pay his cable
 He asks if you got anything to drink
 As he looks at the 12 pack on the sink
 9 beers and a bag of chips later
 You get the guts to kick out your neighbor
 The next time he tries to come over
 Tell him to turn around and bendover
 Kick him in the ass and say go away
 Tell him itÕs the end of his scavenger days
 
 DonÕt be mistaken over what IÕve said
 There women out there who are just as bad
 They pride themselves on their deception
 Finding drunk guys with no sober perception
 They show their cleavage and they wink their eyes
 Wearing short skirts that show their thighs
 Flirting with men and telling them theyÕre strong
 To get free drinks all night long
 Looks on their faces are sorrow and sad
 To keep you from closing out your tab
 To rid these girls it doesnÕt take a lot
 Use a little psychological thought
 When a girl walks up begins her persuasion
 Start off with an intelligent conversation
 SheÕll twiddle her hair and have a blank face
 ItÕs a perfect example of a scavenger case
 
 Now everyoneÕs done this once or twice
 But a scavenger does it his whole damn life
 Never tries to pay you back of course
 Has no regret or feelings of remorse
 I couldnÕt tell you bout everyone in detail
 Remember it could be a man or a female
 The ones that ask you out to eat
 They forget their money so its always your treat
 The guy who never brings his own beer
