From: "Phillip Carter"
Subject: Brad Paisley - I'm Gonna Miss Her
Date: Fri, 22 Jun 2001 16:07:50 -0500
Artist: Brad Paisley
Album : Part II
Song : I'm Gonna Miss Her
Writer: Brad Paisley and Frank Rogers
Tabbed: Phillip Carter
Tuning: Tune down half a step to Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb
Intro: G - G/B - C - D x2
Verse:
G G/B C
Well I love her, but I love to fish
D
I spend all day out on this lake
G D
And hell is all I catch
G G/B
But today she met me at the door
C
Said I would have to choose
G G/F# Em
If I hit that fishin' hole today
C G/F# Em
She'd be packin' all her things
C D
And she'd be gone by noon
Chorus:
G
Well I'm gonna miss her, When I get home
D
But right now I'm on this lakeshore
G D
And I'm sittin' in the sun
C
I'm sure it'll hit me
G G/F# Em7
When I walk through that door tonight
C
That I'm gonna miss her
C G
Oh, lookie there, I've got a bite
Bridge:
Em
Now there's a chance that if I hurry
G-Am-Bm-Em
I could beg her to stay
Em
But that water's right and the weather's perfect
D
No tellin' what I might catch today
(repeat chorus)
This is a great song by an incredible artist...i'm not ENTIRELY sure on the
bridge after the first Em7, I think it MAY change chords, but I can't hear
it unfortunately so I leave it as is. I didn't include the break, but I am
pretty sure the break is just like the chorus but it has a walkup right at
the end to the Em7, much like the G-Am-Bm-Em walkup, only not as drastic.
Enjoy!!
