SONG: Time Bomb
 ARTIST: Rancid
ALBUM: ...And Out Come The Wolves
 LYRICS WRITTEN BY: Rancid
MUSIC WRITTEN BY: Rancid (except organ - Paul Jackson)
TABBED BY: blister@ingress.com (Andy Amoeba) Nov. '95
This song has puzzled many as to what exactly is a "ska" riff and so
on. There really isn't anything special about Rancid's style at all.
It consists of basic power chords just being scratched downwards and
then strummed upwards. That is the technique of ska and reggae. I
recently saw an upload to nevada.edu with the chords for 'Time Bomb'
but I wasn't happy with it, and thought that some of it was wrong.
Tim is notorious for using power chords only. No fancy shit...
As you can see, my tab is VERY different than the old one.
I hope this will clear things up. Thanks to Simple557@aol.com
however for the efforts and starting me off on the right track to
tabbing this song out. Don't forget to listen to the song in order
to obtain a sense of timing! This is only an approximation!
P.S. - Sorry that I couldn't squeeze in the lyrics with the tab.

 Here are the entire lyrics:
If you wanna make the move then you better come in
It's just the ability to reason that wears so thin
Living and dying and the stories that are true
The secret to a good life is knowing when you're through

Black coat, white shoes, black hat, Cadillac
 The boy's a time bomb

He's back in the hole where they got him living like a rat
Be he's smarter than that Nine lives like a cat
Take him to the youth authority home
First thing you learn is you got to make it in this world alone
Now he's gotten out He's gotten free He's gotta go
Gotta car 21 years old He's runnin' numbers from the bar
His pager's beepin' He's gettin' deep in whatever
He can move on in You know that kid's a creepin' in

Tears come from the razor that's been tattooed below his eye
His mother cries She knows that he is strong enough to die
He's rollin' in the Cadillac It's midnight Sunroof is down
Three shots rung out the herd's deal The new king is crowned.
