  I Hope That I Don't Fall In Love With You  -  Tom Waits
  from the album 'Closing Time' (1973).
  
  This was recently requested, so here it goes. It's not 100% accurate, but this should get you going. The lyrics were already downloaded by Johan Kristian Sveen <johans@ifi.uio.no in the 'nevada archives', but I am sure he doesn't mind me using it here ;-). However, I adapted some of the chords.

  This fingerpicking pattern is continued through the whole song with some small
  variations, like one or two extra notes, or 'connecting bass notes'.

   This is the Tom Waits's song called 'I hope that I don't fall in
 love with you', which I tabbed from the recording 'The Early Years'.
 I think it is a faithfull transcription, at least for the beginning
 of the song ( I didn't tabbed all the variations that occur after),
 and for possible misprints.
 
 I didn't write all the lyrics, because they have already been sent to
 this group. ( I tabbed some others Tom Waits songs. Does it interest
 anyone . I prefer answers by e-mail).
